Community Involvement
At SeaComm, we’re committed to the credit union philosophy, “People Helping People.”
We’re focused on making our communities a better place to live, and we believe there’s no better way to do that than by giving back.
That’s why we proudly support local organizations to help strengthen the neighborhoods we serve and improve the quality of life for residents within our membership area. As your neighbor, we’re deeply involved with the community through volunteer efforts and financial contributions.
SeaComm Provides New Scoreboard for Massena Arena
We are proud to support the Massena Arena by purchasing a new Nevco scoreboard, replacing the previous one that was obtained from Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena in 1994. SeaComm donated the $45,000 needed to make the purchase, allowing us to help the arena hang a brand new, wireless scoreboard just in time for the start of the upcoming hockey season.
"Hockey is a legacy sport in Massena, spanning generations of youth. Our support for the new scoreboard at the Massena Arena extends our ongoing commitment to youth hockey, from Mites and Bantams to high school varsity. We are so proud to be a part of this fundamental sport," SeaComm President and CEO, Scott A. Wilson, said as he and other SeaComm representatives visited the arena to see the new scoreboard.

SeaComm Pledges $50K for Massena Hospital Emergency Department Expansion
SeaComm Federal Credit Union is pleased to commit $50,000 towards the expansion of the Massena Hospital Emergency Department. This investment will assist in ensuring that the community has access to state-of-the-art emergency services in an updated facility.

The fresh look and feel of the renovated department will reflect the dedication and expertise of the hospital’s clinical and non-clinical teams.
